“A man came into the Department of Workforce Services office and signed up for SNAP benefits, on his way out he picked up one of a SNAP-Ed meal kit we had left in the office. The following month he stated to the office manager it meant a lot to him to have a meal for a few days as he waited for his benefits to come in.”
