Non-Profit Director Partners with SNAP-Ed

“I am the site director of two non-profits. One is an educational program and the other is a poverty program. Both programs have partnered with SNAP- ED to help our community. The educational programs have been something we can directly apply to curricular needs of our students toward their high school diplomas while learning valuable life skills. In our poverty program, the educational resources have helped our families better meet nutritional needs within their budgets despite the rising costs of groceries. We have even been able to use our own produce grown in a community garden in cooperation with our SNAP-ED coordinator for members of both programs.”
