Learning to Cook Builds Health for Life

“I have seen SNAP-Ed classes build confidence in adult cooks who have struggled with cooking healthful foods for themselves and their family. Spending time cooking in the kitchen with a nutrition educator and other adults makes trying new skills and foods approachable and achievable. This can change how a person eats and how they feed others for the rest of their lives. That’s a big deal and there is nothing more foundational to healthy eating than knowing how to cook and prepare foods in your home kitchen.
