Central Maine Parent and Daughter

“I most often work with youth in a rural Central Maine town, and my SNAP-Ed classes are a constant reminder of how important it is to serve this community. I frequently receive feedback from the student’s parents about how much their kids love the cooking/nutrition education.

‘After participating in your classes, my daughter has gained so much confidence in the kitchen. She asks to help out regularly and even comes up with new ideas to cook. This class has definitely increased her curiosity. These classes are so beneficial for exploring healthy foods!’

This one testimony, along with the many others I’ve received as a SNAP-Ed nutrition educator, proves the outcomes of these classes result in lasting behavior changes for our at-risk youth.”
